For many of us, the smell alone brings back memories — summer holidays, family gatherings, waiting near the kitchen for mangoes to ripen, and eating them with juice running down your hands without worrying about the mess.
After moving away from home, many people miss that feeling more than they expect.
That’s one of the reasons Native Taste Co. started.
We wanted to bring back the experience of enjoying real seasonal Indian mangoes with family and friends here in Texas, instead of settling for ordinary store mangoes that never taste the same.
Every variety has its own personality.
Alphonso is rich, creamy, and almost dessert-like.
Rasalu varieties are juicy, messy, and nostalgic in the best way possible.
Banginapalli has a refreshing sweetness that many families grew up eating regularly.
Kesar has a strong aroma and balanced sweetness people instantly recognize.
One thing we’ve learned this season is that mangoes are truly seasonal and natural products. Availability changes week to week depending on weather, ripening, harvest timing, and farm allocation in India. Some weeks certain varieties arrive perfectly, and other weeks they may not be available at all.
We try our best to coordinate shipments carefully and keep the community updated honestly as things change throughout the season.
Right now, Native Taste Co. serves communities across Dallas, Houston, and surrounding Texas areas. What started as a small family effort has grown through word of mouth, referrals, WhatsApp groups, and community support.
And honestly, that support means a lot to us.
